Crowley Announces Four Newly-named Avance-Class Vessels for 2025

We are thrilled to announce that we have named our four new LNG fueled, Avance (pronounced: ah-bahn-seh with the English meaning Advance) Class container ships. The four vessels will be delivered in 2025. As they join the fleet, these ships’ names will pay homage to the local communities we serve in Central America and strengthen our connection to the region. They will also help us continue to connect strategically located ports and businesses in Central America with our global customer base. With bold decisions such as making significant investments in more sustainable assets, we Carry the World. Forward.

The names embody Central America’s rich cultural heritage while reflecting the beauty and significance of this extraordinary part of the world.
