New Appointment Scheduling Requirement – Santo Tomás de Castilla Port
Please be advised that Santo Tomás de Castilla Port has implemented a new Appointment Scheduling System for cargo operations. This initiative is designed to reduce congestion at terminal entry lanes and improve the overall efficiency, security, and flow of port activities.
Key details:
- The system is available 24/7
- Appointments are mandatory for all import and export units
- Red Channel (selective RED) cargo is currently exempt
- Access to the system is granted directly by the port upon request
What this means for you:
- Crowley will schedule appointments on your behalf once complete documentation is received from your customs broker
- Units arriving at the port without a confirmed appointment may be turned away
- To avoid delays, please ensure documentation is submitted promptly to support timely booking
This process applies to both import and export cargo, with export appointments having been in place since October 2025.
We appreciate your cooperation as this new system is implemented to improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.
If you have any questions, please contact your Crowley representative.
