Energy Charge for Virgin Islands
Effective September 17, 2023, Crowley will implement a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge at our US Virgin Island Terminals.
An Energy Charge of $150.00 per day will be assessed after the expiration of free time when the Crowley is required to maintain operating reefers in our facilities.
- Import Shipments: Energy free time starts the first business day after vessel completes discharge. Energy free time will be three (3) business days.
- Export Shipments: Energy free time starts the first business day after the container arrives at the terminal. Energy free time will be three (3) business days.
