Hurricane Matthew Customer Update

2016-10-10

We would like to thank you for your patience over the last week as we tracked Hurricane Matthew through the Caribbean and up the east coast. While the Hurricane disrupted many of our operations andservices along its path, we are happy to report that all of our locations, including terminals, warehouses, offices; our vessels, and most importantly our people – at sea and at shore – are safe. We have resumed full operations.

We would also like take a moment to offer our thoughts and prayers for all those families that lost loved ones as a result of Hurricane Matthew. While many of us were spared, we must not forget those that did not meet the same fate. As perspective, there are over 1000 people declared dead in Haiti, and 18 in the US as a result of the storm.

As safety is Crowley’s number 1 core value, we’d like to thank all of the emergency responders and government agencies that worked throughout the various scenarios of the storm to keep us safe, the industry informed, and to speed post-storm clearances. These actions have allowed all of us to get back to servicing you – our valued customers. We’d also like to thank Crowley employees who continued to work tirelessly behind the scenes, most from remote locations, to determine the best actions for business and supply chain continuity, and ensure timely customer communications. Together, these people provide the best examples of how planning, focus, informed decision making and cooperation lead to the best possible results in some of the most serious and perilous situations.
