Weist Promoted to Crowley’s Director of Inland Operations
(Jacksonville, Fla.; Feb. 22, 2006) – Crowley announced today that Bob Weist has been promoted to director of inland operations for the company’s Puerto Rico/Caribbean liner services group effective March 15. In his new role, Weist will relocate from the New Orleans area to Jacksonville, Fla. He will be domiciled at the company’s Talleyrand terminal and will report to Maureen Cunningham, vice president, operations.
“Bob’s strong operations background will benefit our customers as he directs our over-the-road and intermodal activities,” Cunningham said.
Weist began his career with Crowley in 1987 in the company’s New Jersey office. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in several different Crowley locations. Most recently he managed Crowley’s operations in the U.S. Gulf from New Orleans with particular focus on the company’s terminal operations in Gulfport, Miss.
