Miguel Artiga Promoted to Vice President Marketing and Sales, Crowley Logistics
(Jacksonville, Fla.; Feb. 15, 2005) – Crowley Logistics, Inc., today announced the promotion of Miguel Artiga to the position of vice president, sales and marketing, Crowley Logistics. In this new position, Artiga will continue to be domiciled in Guatemala and will report to Rinus Schepen, senior vice president and general manager, logistics. He is responsible for all marketing and sales activities for the logistics group in both Central America and the U.S. In this function he is also tasked with increasing and expanding revenues for Crowley Logistics and its subsidiaries, Speed Cargo and Apparel Transportation.

Prior to his promotion, Artiga served as general manager, Guatemala, for Crowley’s liner services group. He joined Crowley in 1988 in El Salvador and has held various positions in sales and general management for Crowley in Ecuador, Honduras and Guatemala. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Politcnica, El Salvador.
