Fred Lupone Joins Crowley as Director of Special Projects, Information Technology

(Jacksonville, Fla.; June 28, 2004) – Fred Lupone has joined Crowley Maritime Corporation’s information technology (IT) department as director of special projects. Lupone will be domiciled in the company’s Jacksonville office and will report directly to Nancy Ritter, Crowley’s vice president of information technology.

In this position, Lupone has overall responsibility for the corporate IT program management office, which focuses on special, strategic and tactical projects that affect the continuing success of the corporation and its business units. Lupone ensures that the IT project management tools and techniques used throughout the corporation are consistent.

Prior to joining Crowley, Lupone served as senior project manager for the marketing and pricing departments of Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. He has also served as a consulting director and owned his own small business. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in management information systems.
