Doug Hargett Promoted to Director of Port Operations, Jacksonville

(Jacksonville, Fla.; Jan. 22, 2003) – Doug Hargett has been promoted to director of port operations for Crowley Liner Service’s Jacksonville terminal. In his new role, he is responsible for yard operations, stevedoring, traffic and port documentation.

Hargett began his career with Crowley in 1978 as manager, cargo services and has served in varying capacities within the organization including most recently manager of terminal and port operations. Hargett will continue to report to Rudy Leming, Crowley vice president of operations.

“Doug has been a respected member of the Crowley team for 25 years and we are pleased to see him continue his career growth with our organization,” Leming said. “The experience he brings is invaluable to our operations.”
