Crowley’s Ismael Estrada Promoted to Director of Port Operations in Puerto Rico

(Jacksonville, Fla.; March 5, 2003) – Ismael Estrada has been promoted to director of port operations for Crowley liner services Isla Grande terminal in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In his new role, he is responsible for all operational activities of the terminal including equipment control, freight services, security and maintenance.

Estrada joined Crowley in 1990 as supervisor of vessel cargo operations and was subsequently promoted to manager of terminal operations. Estrada will report to Roberto Lugo Jr., vice president and general manager.

“During his 13 years with Crowley, Ismael has become a valuable member of Crowley’s Puerto Rico, Caribbean team,” Lugo said. “We are certain that he will continue to excel in his new role while bringing additional value to our customers.”
