Crowley to Grow its Customs Brokerage Capabilities with the Acquisition of Customized Brokers in Miami
(Miami, Fla.; Nov. 3, 2008) – To further build its customs brokerage business, Crowley announced today the acquisition of Miami-based Customized Brokers, a customs clearance company specializing in refrigerated cargoes arriving by air and sea. Over the last two decades, Customized Brokers has developed a streamlined clearance process and strong partnerships with its customers, ensuring that shipments arrive at their destination in a timely fashion.
Customized Brokers, which has 32 employees, will remain an independent company with its office in Miami, and will continue to serve its current clientele while offering additional logistics services through Crowley Logistics.
