Crowley Finishes First in the Second Annual Marine Digest and Cargo Business News Domestic Ocean Carrier Customer Service Reader

(Jacksonville, Fla.; Jan. 14, 2004) – Crowley Liner Services was recognized as the Top Domestic Ocean Carrier in the Second Annual Marine Digest and Cargo Business News reader survey, the results of which were published in the magazine’s December edition.

Crowley was rated the top domestic ocean carrier for its services to Puerto Rico after nearly 1,200 respondents, all of whom control the movement of cargo for their company, completed the questionnaire distributed through a special magazine cover-wrap on the July through October issues. Areas surveyed included scheduled arrivals and departures, schedule frequency, equipment reliability, quickest response time to queries, best individual carrier website for doing cargo business and best carrier for value added logistics management. Additionally, respondents praised Crowley for its offering of full-package services domestically.
