Puerto Rico Fuel Charge Adjustment – December 2018

Crowley evaluates the price per metric ton of New York MGO on the 15th of every month on Bunkerworld.com to determine if adjustments are necessary to the current Vessel Fuel Charge (Tariff CPRC-602). As of December 15, the average fuel price over the past 30 days was $644, falling to the $640 – $659 price range tier. This results in a decrease in the fuel charges effective January 1, 2019 as follows:

Also, effective January 1, 2019, Crowley Logistics Inc and Crowley Caribbean Logistics LLC will implement a Fuel Surcharge decrease of 4% for all ocean freight between the Continental US and Puerto Rico (northbound and southbound). The fuel charge will decrease from 34% to 30% for LCL shipments.
