Hazardous Cargo Surcharge

Effective November 7, 2004, except where a rate is filed for a specific commodity designated as Hazardous Cargo, a Hazardous Cargo Surcharge will apply on all cargoes that contain Hazardous Materials for Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.
The special exception for South Florida has been removed from the rule and all shipments will be assessed the following charge:
$250.00 per container or trailer.
