U.S. Inland Fuel Surcharge Increase – Central America Shippers

Notice to all customers shipping to and from Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
Crowley wishes to inform the Trade of the following increase that will be effective October 16, 2005.
U.S. Inland Fuel Surcharge will be increased by the following amounts for State origins to Port Everglades or State destinations from Port Everglades;
Oct 16 Increase
Zone 1 – FL (South Florida Drayage area) – $50
Zone 2 – FL (outside South Florida Drayage area) – $80
Zone 3 – AL, GA, SC – $205
Zone 4 – LA, MS, NC, TN – $280
Zone 5 – AR, IN, KY, OH, PA, VA, WV, TX, IL, MD, NJ, DE, MO – $380
Zone 6 – OK, KS, NE, IA, WI, MI, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME – $480
Zone 7 – All Other States – $680
This increase will apply on all open tariff and contract door rates. The increase will also apply on open tariff inland charges and special inlands as noted in service contracts. The increase is due to increases from U.S. intermodal truck and rail carriers.
