Crowley is one of the largest independent operators of petroleum barges and tankers in the United States. We specialize in providing bulk petroleum and chemical transportation throughout the U.S. Gulf, East Coast, West Coast, and Alaska, as well as international ports. We own and operate a diverse, sophisticated fleet of double-hull tank vessels, enabling us to offer a wide range of transportation options and meet virtually any customer requirement.
Crowley has proven itself as an innovator and leader in petroleum and chemical transportation through the development of an unrivaled articulated tug barge (ATB) fleet which includes the newest and most sophisticated U.S.-flagged ATBs. We maintain an extensive fleet of articulated tug barges, ranging in size from 20,000 DWT to 44,000 DWT. This enables us to offer a wide range of transportation options to our petroleum and chemical customers.
We pride ourselves as a crude oil and chemical carrier on providing economical, reliable service while adhering to the most stringent safety and environmental protection standards. In 2011, Crowley safely and reliably transported more than 150 million barrels of petroleum products throughout the North American coasts, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and to several international destinations.
