Career FAQs

How do I apply?
It's easy! Just search for a job on the left navigation bar and click on the job posting you would like to apply for.

What’s the best way to submit my application?
We prefer to receive applications electronically through our Careers site.

What if I don’t have a background in the maritime industry?
We always have job opportunities that do not require experience in the maritime industry – just make sure to review the requirements in the job postings. If you are new to the maritime industry, here’s how to get started on your career with Crowley.

I wanted to apply for a position that I saw here, but now it's not listed. May I still apply?
We are always posting new positions and removing positions that are filled or no longer open. To make the process of reviewing applicants easier, it helps to apply for a specific position.

I submitted my resume but haven't heard from Crowley yet. What's the status of my application?
We are constantly reviewing applications as they come in and will contact the people we’d like to learn more about. Due to our volume of applicants, we are not able to personally contact all applicants. We will keep your resumes on file for several months in case another job opening comes up in the future.

What is your interview process?
The typical interviewing process begins with a phone screen. If there's interest on both sides, we invite people in for an in-person interview, typically with the hiring manager. Be prepared to be tested on your proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.

Will I have opportunities for training and development after I am hired?
Yes! One of Crowley’s core value is in Our People which promotes developmental opportunities for our employees, whether informal or formal. The company strives that all employees average 20 hours of training annually. Click here for more benefits offered at Crowley.
