Tropical Storm Debby Update #2

2012-06-26

Dear Valued Customer,

Tropical Storm Debby  continues its path towards the West Coast of Florida.  Present location has the storm 35 miles WNW of Cedar Key, Florida heading ENE at 6-8 mph.  Maximum sustained winds are at 40 mph with wind gusts up to 50 mph.  The center of the storm is expected to make landfall later this afternoon and cross over Florida into the Atlantic within 24 hours.

Due to the likelihood of tropical force winds, heavy rains, and related storm surge, the United States Coast Guard has set the  port of Jacksonville at Hurricane Condition “Whiskey” as of 12:00 PM this afternoon.  Crowley’s Jacksonville port facilities are preparing accordingly.

We will continue to monitor the storm and provide further updates as more information becomes available.
