Trinidad Currency Adjustment Fee Effective September 15, 2019

Effective September 15, 2019, we will begin assessing a Currency Adjustment Fee (CAF) on all shipments paid in Trinidad and Tobago dollars (TTD). The 5% fee will be additional to the prevailing Trinidad exchange rate on total freight charges. It will be applied at the time the payment is made and collected in Trinidad.

If payment is made within 15 days of the vessel’s arrival, the rate of exchange will be calculated according to the Commercial Bank U.S. Dollar rate in country at the time of vessel arrival. If payment is made outside of the 15 days, the rate of exchange will be the Commercial Bank U.S. Dollar rate in effect on the date of vessel arrival or date of payment, whichever is greater.
