St. Maarten Road Tax and Landing Increases – Effective 1/16/2011

To Our Valued Customers,

Due to the increased port costs and tax increases, Crowley Caribbean Services announces an increase in the in St. Maarten Landing and Road Tax levels as depicted below, effective Sunday, January 16, 2011 between the United States and San Juan Puerto Rico to St. Maarten as follows:  

St. Maarten Landing Charge Increase effective 1/16/2011
20′ $515 to $530 (+$15)
40′ $960 to $990 (+$30)
 
St. Maarten Road Tax effective 1/16/2011
$140 per unit +$19 to $159 per unit
 
These Increases will apply on cargo moving between the United States and San Juan, Puerto Rico to St. Maarten, applicable to all open tariff and service contract rates.  Please advise your customers of the adjustments listed above.
