Puerto Limon Strike – Update #2

2012-06-19

Dear Valued Customer,

An agreement has been reached between the Costa Rican Government and SINTRAJAP, the port union in Puerto Limon.  The result is that as of 8:00 AM EDT today, the strike in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, has ended.  Although port operations are back to normal and cargo is being dispatched into and out of the terminal, due to the congestion caused by the strike, cargo could experience some delays.

As a result of the opening of Puerto Limon, the Marcajama voyage SZV2024 scheduled port call for later this week will call Puerto Limon as planned.
