Our cross-dock services are offered to directly increase the velocity with which cargo speeds through the supply chain. For these services to be effective, they require careful planning, staging and implementation of inventory control in relation to fill rate requirements, all of which necessitate state-of-the-art technology and dedicated personnel. To offset rising operational costs associated with these cargo transfers and load matches, all contract and open tariff cross-dock or transfer rates will be assessed a $50 increase effective June 10, 2018.
