Puerto Rico Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge

Effective January 4th 2015 Crowley will implement a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge in our Puerto Rico and US Terminals.

IN PUERTO RICO:

For Inbound (Southbound) containers the free time for Reefer Energy charges at the port will be 3 calendar days starting the day after vessel discharge. For Outbound (Northbound) containers the free time for Reefer Energy charges at the port will be 3 calendar days before vessel loading.

Upon expiration of this free time Crowley will assess an Energy Charge of $150.00 per day to maintain operating reefers in our port facility.

IN THE UNITED STATES:

For Outbound (Southbound) containers the free time for Reefer Energy charges at the port will be 3 calendar days before vessel loading. For Inbound (Northbound) containers the free time for Reefer Energy charges at the port will be 3 calendar days starting the day after vessel discharge.

Upon expiration of this free time Crowley will assess an Energy Charge of $150.00 per day to maintain operating reefers in our port facility.

The aforementioned Energy Charges will apply to all open tariff and contract shipments.
