Documentation Cutoff Revision: Additional Sailings and Supply Chain Enhancements – USVI

To strengthen our supply chain services in the United States Virgin Islands, we are adding an additional weekly sailing to the islands from Jacksonville, FL on Fridays with arrival in St. Croix on Wednesdays and St. Thomas on Thursdays. The new sailing complements our existing weekly Thursday departures to the islands from Port Everglades, FL.

The additional departure and arrival dates and times are consistent with our goal to improve the velocity and reliability of your supply chain by allowing cargo to be routed more efficiently depending on the points of origin. The Jacksonville sailing allows cargo originating nearer to North Florida later cutoffs with more time for loading and delivery to the port with additional opportunities for rail and over-the-road connections.

The Jacksonville sailing will also allow customers to utilize the extra capacity of our larger, 45’ x 102” dry, high cube containers, a first for the market. These containers hold 22% more than the standard 40’ high cube containers, providing customers a capacity advantage.

Our USVI service enhancements also align nicely with our global and intra-regional logistics services already being used today by a growing number of our USVI customers. We offer efficient, effective shipping and logistics solutions in the Caribbean to businesses shipping full dry or refrigerated container loads or anyone who needs to ship small and medium-sized packages – including home appliances, personal effects, furniture, pallets, packages and more.

We are pleased to bring these improvements to the market and look forward to serving you.
