Caribbean Security Charge Increase Effective Sunday, May 4, 2014

Dear Valued Customers,

Due to the continued increasing cost in meeting security requirements at U.S. ports as set by U.S. federal, state, local directives tied to Homeland Security and mounting drug traffic, Crowley Caribbean Services announces an increase in the U.S. Security Charge of $35 per TEU effective May 4, 2014. This U.S. Security Charge applies on cargo between the United States and the Caribbean, which includes the U.S. Virgin and British Virgin Islands. U.S. Security charge applies on all southbound and northbound cargo and applies to all service contract and open tariff customers.
