PUERTO RICO PORTS AUTHORITY REQUIREMENTS

2012-03-15

Dear Valued Customer:

The Puerto Rico Ports Authority requires Carriers to submit the manifest on each sailing from Puerto Rico electronically.  In order for Crowley to comply with this requirement  shippers must provide the schedule b number for the cargo loaded in containers.  If the shipment is a mixed load a schedule b number should be provided for the three largest commodities in the container.

Please be advised that as current regulations and requirements change, this will significantly alter the way in which supporting shipping documentation must be presented to the Carriers.  Complete and accurate information must be received and transmitted to the proper authorities to avoid delays and penalties with missing information.
If you have any questions please, contact your sales representative or the Customer Care Department at 1-800-276-9539.

Please visit Crowley.com for schedule changes and operational updates.
