Inland Cost Monitoring – Effective July 1, 2021
For April 2021, the CASS Index , which is used to monitor and evaluate U.S. Inland rates reflected an average of 146.50. As a result, tariff and contract motor and rail rates will increase by 2.38% on July 1, 2021. In addition, inland rates via Gulfport, MS will increase by 7.38%. For the same period, the Department of Energy’s retail on-highway diesel prices all types index monthly average, which is being used to determine the Intermodal Fuel Charge, was $3.13. Therefore, the Intermodal Fuel Percentage will remain unchanged on July 1st. Please find additional details in this downloadable pdf.
