Vessel Fuel and Inland Cost Monitoring
Effective immediately, Crowley will adjust its review cadence for the Intermodal Fuel Surcharge (IFS) and Vessel Fuel Surcharge (VFS) from monthly to quarterly for all trades (Including Puerto Rico).
Please note that previously announced adjustments will proceed as scheduled:
- The Intermodal Fuel Surcharge (IFS) adjustment from 32% to 34%, effective January 25, 2026, will remain in effect and is based on November 2025 DOE diesel prices.
- The International Vessel Fuel Surcharge (VFS) increase of $25 per TEU, effective January 18, 2026, will remain in effect and is based on November 2025 MGO and VLSFO fuel prices.
Moving forward, the Intermodal Fuel Surcharge (IFS) and Vessel Fuel Surcharge (VFS) review will be conducted per the table below, beginning with the December, January, February review period, effective in April 2026:

In addition to the above adjustments, Crowley will also discontinue the use of the CASS Index for evaluating and adjusting US Inlands.
