Crowley Monitoring Hurricane Idalia – Update 2
We are actively monitoring Hurricane Idalia which is forecast to intensify into major hurricane and make landfall Wednesday, morning Aug. 30, along Florida’s Gulf Coast. As the storm’s path continues to develop, we remain diligent, taking all appropriate steps to ensure the safety of personnel, including our marines, our vessels, and your cargo.

- All inbound trucking lanes will close at 1500 today, August 29.
- Terminal gates will close at 1700 today, Tuesday, August 29 to all traffic and operations.
- JAXPORT administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30.
- Reopening of channel and port on Thursday, August 31, will be based on USCG inspection and clearance following passage of the storm. Resumption of container operations will be dependent upon the Radiation Portal Monitors (RPMs) returning online by CBP.
- TMT – closed as at 1200 Tuesday, August 29. Will likely remain closed through Wednesday, August 30. Reopening of channel and port on Thursday, August 31, will be based on USCG inspection and clearance following passage of the storm.
- Jacksonville Warehouse – open today, Tuesday, August 29. Closed on Wednesday, August 30.
