Crowley-Tanker-Coast-Range

Crowley has a long history of transporting petroleum products and chemicals. Crowley has owned and operated Jones Act product tankers, ranging from 240k bbls to 300k bbls, capable of carrying petroleum products and chemicals. They have been operated on the U.S. Gulf, East and West coasts under voyage and time charters. 

Retired Vessel Specifications and Design Highlights

Carlsbad Class – SS Blue Ridge
The S.S. Blue Ridge was a U.S.-flagged, double-bottomed, steam-powered tanker used to transport petroleum products in the U.S.  It featured 20 natural cargo segmentations and could accommodate a variety of parcel combinations while maintaining double-valve segregation.

Carlsbad Class – SS Coast Range
Similar to the Blue Ridge, the Coast Range was also a double-bottomed, steam-powered tanker used to transport petroleum products.  It could provide up to 10 independent cargo degregations in 19 cargo tanks.  Fixed crossovers fitted with line blinds in the manifolds permitted a variety of parcel combinations.
