Update to FMC Rule #88 – Inspection of Cargo by Government Agency Effective January 18, 2026
Please be advised of the changes below to the Inspection of Cargo by Government Agency Fee, Rule #88 in Crowley’s FMC tariff.
Effective January 18, 2026, when CBP-CET (Custom and Border Protection Contraband Enforcement Team) performs an x-rays’ inspection to an import or an export load moving via Gloucester City, NJ, a $240 per container fee will apply.
If further action is required by the CBP-CET, additional charges may apply.
