Education
Supporting education has been a major focus for Crowley over the years in its efforts to give children an opportunity for a bright future. Since 1984, Crowley has provided more than half-a-million dollars in scholarship funds to about 200 students. Crowley has also donated about $2 million to education programs. In 1992, Crowley pioneered the Buddy Program, a mentoring program for Jacksonville students in partnership with the Duval County Public School Board. The program was so successful that the school board reached out to other companies to join.
