Central America experiences delays due to DUCA problems
As a result of the implementation of the Declaración Unica Centro Americana (DUCA) on May 7, 2019, by the Central American Economic Integration Secretary (SIECA) and the Council of Ministers of Economy of Central America (COMIECO), computer problems have been experienced and are impacting the regional trade due to significant loss of time and resources within the supply chain.
Reported problems include congestion and delays at the borders and ports throughout Central America, affecting our ability to meet your requirements for on-time positioning and equipment dispatch.

A partir de la implementación de la Declaración Única Centroamericana (DUCA), el pasado 7 de mayo de 2019 por parte de los Gobiernos Centro Americanos, La Secretaria de Integración Económica Centro Americana – SIECA y el Consejo de Ministros de Economía de Centroamérica – COMIECO, se han experimentado problemas que están impactando el comercio a nivel regional por las pérdidas significativas de tiempo y recursos dentro de la cadena logística.
Los problemas reportados incluyen congestión y demoras en las fronteras y puertos a travése de Centroamérica, lo que afecta nuestra capacidad para cumplir con sus requisitos de posicionamiento y despacho de equipos a tiempo.
