Revised: New Sailing, Service Enhancements for Peak Reefer Season
We are pleased to announce that Crowley will soon implement a new, weekly sailing from Santo Tomas, Guatemala, to Port Everglades, Fla., to accommodate the upcoming increased refrigerated (reefer) market demand. The additional sailing, which will begin on Jan. 5, 2016 out of Port Everglades, is scheduled to depart Santo Tomas each week on Fridays, with the first northbound departure scheduled on January 8. This new sailing is in addition to Crowley’s existing three sailings per week between Port Everglades; Santo Tomas; and Puerto Cortes, Honduras.
Crowley is also happy to share the following new reefer service enhancements, including:
-
196 new reefer plugs in Port Everglades, bringing the terminal capacity to 486
-
740 additional Crowley-owned, 40-foot high cube reefers for the 2015 – 2016 season
-
316 new reefer gensets, with an additional 370 scheduled for delivery in early 2016
