General Rate Increase Announcement – June 30, 2005

Caribbean

Due to continuing escalation of administrative, operating, equipment leasing costs and other factors, Crowley Liner Services will be implementing the following General Rate Increases throughout the Caribbean. Effective July 31, 2005:

40′ – BSC $308 ( $132 will be rolled into the ocean freight )
45′ and up – BSC $350 ($140 will be rolled into the ocean freight )

BUNKER FUEL SURCHARGE – Virgin Islands

Please be advised, effective May 1, 2005 the Bunker Fuel Surcharge for the Virgin Islands will be increased $70 per TEU.

40′ from $300 to $440
45′ and up from $350 to $490

BUNKER FUEL SURCHARGE – Tortola/Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

Please be advised, effective May 1, 2005 the Bunker Fuel Surcharge for the Virgin Islands will be increased $70 per TEU.

40′ from $300 to $440
45′ and up from $350 to $490

The Bunker Increases apply on contract and open tariff cargo.

Due to the escalation of fuel prices, members of the Caribbean Shipowners Association who are Bernuth Lines, CMA-CGM, Crowley Liner Services, Interline, Lykes Line, Seaboard Marine, SeaFreight Line, and Tropical Shipping, providing service between the United States and Caribbean destinations (Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Saba, St Barths, St Eustatius, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Vincent, Trinidad, Haiti, Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname), announce the necessity to publish effective Sunday, April 24, 2005, based on the West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil price of $50 per barrel as follows:

Due to the escalation of fuel prices, members of the Bahamas Shipowners Association serving Nassau, who are, Crowley Liner Services, Pioneer Shipping, Seaboard Marine and Tropical Shipping, announce the necessity to publish effective Sunday, April 24, 2005, based on the West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil price of $50 per barrel as follows:

BUNKER SURCHARGE ROLL IN

Please be advised, effective March 6, 2005 we will roll in a portion of our existing Bunker Surcharge into the Ocean Freight rate for the Caribbean and Bahamas. The VI Bunker roll in will be effective March 27, 2005. Vessel fuel expenses are a major component of the overall operating expenses of our vessels, as well as intermodal fuel expenses and are a cost of doing business. Please note that this action does not change the total freight rate. The new Bunker Surcharge levels are listed below.
