Crowley Reopens New Orleans Office to Support Liner Services Customers in the U.S. Gulf Region

2005-10-10

(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.; October 10, 2005) Crowley announced today that it has reopened its New Orleans office in the wake of Hurricane Katrina following an all clear from local and federal authorities. The office, which supports liner services customers, is located at 3300 W. Esplanade Ave. Suite # 605 in Metairie, Lou. The main telephone number there is 504-831-8252.

The office, which is approximately seven and a half miles from downtown New Orleans, did not sustain damage from flooding thanks in part to its location on the sixth floor. The office houses eight full-time sales, operations and support personnel for Crowleys gulf coast liner services group.

“Given all that has occurred in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, we are pleased to be reopening this office so quickly,” said John Hourihan, Crowleys senior vice president and general manager, Latin America services. “It brings a sense of pride to us, our New Orleans employees and the Metairie community to know a return to normalcy is on the horizon. We look forward to serving our area customers once again from this convenient and strategic location.”
