Caribbean Detention and Demurrage Charge Increase – Effective 1/1/2018

Effective January 1, 2018, detention charges will be increased as depicted below.  Detention charges will be applicable at destination covering Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Guyana, Grenada, Montserrat, Nevis, Saba, St Barts, Suriname, St Croix, St Eustatius, St John US VI, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Thomas, St Vincent, Tortola, Trinidad, and Virgin Gorda.

Dry Equipment

20’ Dry – $35 increase to $70/day            

40’/45’ Dry – $45 increase to $110/day

Reefer Equipment 

20’ RE – $85 increase to $160/day    

40’ RE – $110 increase to $160/day              

(VI Reefer – $210/day after 14 days)                              

Special Equipment

20’ FR – $60 increase to $175/day    

40’ FR – $75 increase to $175/day

These charges will be applicable on all open tariff and service contract shipments.
