Alaska Fuel Sales and Distribution
Cargo Delivery by Barge
With over 50 years safely shipping and delivering heavy equipment to remote locations throughout Alaska, we have experience you can count on. We transported the equipment and materials for construction of the DEW Line sites in the 1950s and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline in the 1970s and 1980s. Over the years we’ve supported virtually every industry in Alaska, including construction, mining and fishing, as well as the military and local, state and federal governments.
We can arrange shipments of all types of heavy oversize cargo including machinery, building materials, vehicles and any other general cargo. In addition, we ship from marine/fuel terminal hubs in Alaska to the region’s remote coastal and river locations, as opposed to other freight transportation companies, which can only serve these marine terminals with voyages originating in Anchorage and the lower 48 states. Our combination deck/bulk petroleum lighterage barges deliver to remote villages, mining and construction sites and coastal and river locations. We can also deliver direct to docks or make beach landings on the coast or upriver, serving the Yukon, Noatak, Kobuk, Nushagak, Kvichak and Kuskokwim river systems when they are ice-free.
