Crowley Promotes David Nickless to Director, Corporate Planning

(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.; October 6, 2000) Crowley Maritime Corporation (CMC) has promoted David Nickless to Director, Corporate Planning, in Jacksonville. In his new role, Nickless is responsible for providing strategic and tactical planning support to the Crowley business units, with emphasis on revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities. He reports to John Calvin, CMC Vice President and Controller.

Nickless joined Crowley more than 12 years ago, and during that time has held various positions in trucking, finance and management reporting. He most recently served as Manager, Business Planning for the company. Nickless has more than 23 years experience in the transportation industry, and worked for 11 years with PIE Nationwide prior to joining Crowley.

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Transportation and Logistics from the University of North Florida.
