Crowley Marine Services Promotes McCain to Director, California Marine Operations

(LONG BEACH, Calif.; October 6, 2000) Crowley Marine Services (CMS) has promoted Ed McCain to Director, California Marine Operations based in Long Beach. In his new role, McCain supports Crowleys California harbor operations and U.S. Navy SUPSALV operations. He reports to Gary Faber, Vice President, CMS Marine Operations.

Since joining Crowley in 1984, McCain has served in both operations and management capacities, having spent 12 years in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in Marine Operations and as Director of Terminal Operations, and several years in Jacksonville directing the activities of the domestic liner tug and barge fleet. Most recently, McCain served as Director of Marine Operations for Crowley Liner Services in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ed bring years of knowledge and experience to the Operation from his tenure in the Atlantic area of operations and he is a welcome addition to our staff, said Faber.

McCain is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY.
