Collar Appointed Director, Special Projects for Crowley Subsidiary Vessel Management Services
(SEATTLE; July 11, 2000) Steve Collar has joined the staff of Vessel Management Services (VMS), a Crowley Maritime Corporation (CMC) subsidiary, as Director, Special Projects. He is based in Seattle.
Collar, a 25-year Crowley veteran, has held a variety of increasingly responsible positions – most recently General Manager, Petroleum Transportation for Crowley Marine Services. Steve holds an MBA degree from the University of Washington.
VMS, established in 1996, is a Crowley subsidiary that designs, engineers, constructs and maintains ownership of new vessels for charter. Its mission is to provide technologically advanced equipment to serve the needs of the industry.
