Bill Allen Joins Crowley Logistics as Director, Business Development, Trucking Services

(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.; October 13, 2000) Bill Allen has joined Crowley Logistics (CLI) as Director, Business Development, Trucking Services, based in Jacksonville. In his new position, Allen is responsible for providing value-added logistics services to new and existing Crowley customers, as well as for ensuring effective equipment usage for both northbound and southbound cargo. He will also provide domestic trucking solutions designed to support and enhance Crowley Logistics projects in the U.S., Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Allen joins Crowley with more than 16 years experience in the transportation industry.

During his career he has worked in management positions in operations, marketing and sales with a number of transportation companies including Old Dominion Freight Lines, Allen Freight Lines and Trailer Bridge.
