SC Johnson Recognizes Crowley With Service and Customer Service Awards

In 2004, SC Johnson recognized Crowley’s liner services group with a Service Performance Award. Crowley Senior Account Executives Gunter Majzner and Greig Havern and Director of Sales Jose “Pepe” Chirinos accepted the award during the company’s annual performance review. SC Johnson measures their ocean carriers on a number of variables monthly to determine which carriers warrant recognition.

Before that, Crowley was honored with SC Johnson’s Outstanding Customer Service Award for 2001, which was presented in 2002. Majzner and Havern also accepted this first award on behalf of the company again at SC Johnson’s corporate headquarters.

Crowley was selected for the 2001 award by maintaining the high levels of customer service required in SC Johnson’s carrier partnership program. Performance criteria in which Crowley excelled included sailing schedule integrity, documentation, customer service and equipment availability and condition.

“These awards are both wonderful recognition for the corporation, and in particular all of the Crowley employees who service the SC Johnson account,” Majzner said. “We are deeply honored.”

SC Johnson, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of household cleaning products and products for home storage, personal care and insect control, uses Crowley to transport its goods in the Caribbean and Latin American. Representatives from both companies meet regularly to review Crowley’s performance and to discuss ways to help SC Johnson improve its logistics supply chain.
