Notice to Puerto Rico Customers – Security Drill in San Juan

2007-10-02

Crowley will be participating in a major port security and emergency response exercise today (Oct. 2) in Puerto Rico involving the Coast Guard and some 25 federal and local agencies. The company will be opening its Isla Grande Terminal for the drill and will be an active participant.

While there will be a lot of activity, with police, fire and rescue vehicles present, Crowleys Isla Grande Terminal will be open for business. There are no vessels due in tomorrow, but truckers can pick up and drop off loads as usual.

As the premier shipping line in Puerto Rico, Crowley is honored to have been selected to host and participate in this very important drill. Crowley has significant security measures, systems and procedures in place, and this exercise will validate those and provide further insights into where Crowley can make even more improvements. Crowleys active involvement further demonstrates the companys commitment to the security of their operations both on the Island and in the U.S., and to working with authorities to protect the people of Puerto Rico from potential terrorist activities.
