US Inland Fuel Increase – Dominican Republic

Crowley wishes to advise that effective May 29, 2005 the U.S. Inland Fuel Surcharge will be increased $60.00, excluding South Florida Drayage points. This increase will be applied on shipments to/from Dominican Republic. This is already effective in all other Central American countries.

This increase will apply on all open tariff rates, contract door rates, open tariff inland charges and special inlands as noted in service contracts. The increase is due to increases from U.S. intermodal truck and rail carriers.

Notice to Trade – Major Moving Commodities

Central America Discussion Agreement (CADA)- Notice of General Rate Increase on southbound cargo shipments from the United States to Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama.

The members of the Central America Discussion Agreement (CADA) continue to face spiraling increases in operating cost. In order to offset these costs the carrier members have agreed to a General Rate Increase to become effective on June 1, 2005.

To Costa Rica:
150.00 per 20
165.00 per 40 STD NOR
175.00 per 40 HC NOR
200.00 per 40/45

To Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua:
250.00 per 20
265.00 per 40 STD/NOR
275.00 per 40 HC/NOR
300.00 per 40/45

To Panama:
150.00 per 20
200.00 per 40/45

The increase will apply on southbound cargo shipments including FAK, DSM, Hardware, Auto Parts, Appliances, Tires (New and Used), Groceries, Toys, Rags, Electrical Materials and Restaurant Supplies. This increase will apply on open tariff rates and all service contracts.

Shipper’s Exprt Declaration ITN Number

Crowley wishes to advise that effective immediately due to the enforcement of customs regulations on SED filings, customers must submit the SED ITN number for each booking by 5:00 PM on the day of sailing. This applies to all Southbound shipments from the United States.

Failure to submit this information on time to Crowley will result in cargo not being loaded.

Bunker Fuel Increase and Fuel Recovery Surcharge – Effective May 15, 2005

The Members of the Central America Discussion Agreement and Hispaniola Discussion Agreement will be adjusting their bunker filings and fuel recovery surcharge, as applicable. The adjustment is due to spiraling increased costs associated with the purchase of fuel and will be applicable on all shipments to and from the United States as of May 15, 2005.

The charge will be filed/increased by the amounts indicated below and apply to/from Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama.

20′ equipment – $ 35.00

40′ STD/HC – $ 70.00

45′ equipment – $ 80.00

Dominican Republic General Rate Increase

We wish to advise the trade that the Members of the Hispaniola Discussion Agreement (HDA) will be implementing a General Rate Increase (GRI), effective May 3, 2005 and applicable on all Northbound and Southbound cargo. The General Rate Increase will apply to all cargo to/from the United States and to/from the Dominican Republic as indicated below.

Southbound Cargo:

$225.00 per 45ft container
$200.00 per 20ft refrigerated container
$300.00 per 40ft refrigerated container

We wish to advise that the following surcharge is being implemented both Northbound and Southbound between the U.S. / Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Fuel Recovery Charge Increase will be applicable on all cargo, effective March 2, 2005.
