Hurricane Michael Update #2

Crowley’s Crisis Management Team is monitoring Hurricane Michael, which is currently 285 miles south of Panama City, FL heading north-northwest at 11 mph. According to the latest weather advisory by StormGeo, the storm is forecast to make landfall near Panama City, Fla., as a Category 3 storm, Wednesday afternoon with winds approximately 120 mph.
Safety is Crowley’s No.1 core value. As such we are taking all appropriate steps to ensure safety of personnel, including our mariners, vessels and your cargo. We are coordinating with our vessels to keep them clear of the storm and are making appropriate preparations at shore-side facilities to protect people, equipment and cargo.
Gulfport

Port conditions have not changed. We continue to operate under modified Condition Yankee which means that gale force winds are predicted within 24 hours.

Due to this, operations will continue as safety permits. As previously indicated, our M/V Pegasus J, Voyage CGF8040N/CGF8041S, is anticipated to be delayed arriving in Gulfport, MS., on Thursday, October 11.
Jacksonville:

Port conditions have not changed and the Port of Jacksonville remains in Condition Whiskey which means gale force winds are predicted to arrive within 72 hours.

The port is currently open to all vessel traffic.
Port Everglades

Port Everglades Port is currently open and not impacted, however, the M/V Pavo J, voyage NZV8119S departed Mariel, Cuba at 1300 today following a weather delay. The vessel will be delayed by 24 hours to its additional port calls in the northern zone of Central America. It is estimated to arrive in PEV on Sunday, October 10.
