Crowley has been operating with Heerema Marine Contractors in the US Gulf and Internationally for over 10 years. In 1999, Crowley completed the transportation of the major components for the BP Amoco AMHERSTIA platform located offshore Trinidad.

Crowley also participated in the transportation and installation of platform components including jacket and deck sections for five separate rigs in 1998 including Shell Spirit, URSA and Leviathan. Typically, Crowley will provide the barges, tugs and engineering analysis as required for several aspects of the installation process. Additionally, Crowley will coordinate the activities of third party vendors for vessel movements and load out operations.
