Crowley Receives Prestigious Toyota Logistics Service Award for Excellence in Customer Service for Third Consecutive Year
(Jacksonville, Fla.; June 11, 2004) – Tom Crowley Jr., Chairman, President and CEO of Crowley Maritime Corporation, recently accepted Toyota Logistics Services’ prestigious Award of Excellence in Customer Service for 2003 on behalf of subsidiary Crowley Liner Services in Las Vegas, Nev. It was the third consecutive year the company has received this recognition.
Crowley accepted the award during a dinner ceremony at which Toyota Logistics recognized their logistics partners, including ocean, truck and rail providers over the past year for extraordinary service.
Toyota said Crowley excelled at damage prevention, on-time performance, quality and customer service to have been named an award recipient.
Crowley transports Toyota vehicles between the United States and Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Central America.
