John Douglass, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Atlantic/Gulf Region

 

Responsible for:

  • Petroleum transportation
  • International Marine Salvage
  • Contract towing
  • Transportation Services

Office located in Jacksonville, FL.

Douglass joined Crowley in 1987, and since that time has held various senior management positions including: Senior Vice President & General Manager, Puerto Rico and Caribbean Services; Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Atlantic Division; Vice President, Pricing Atlantic Division; Vice President and General Manager-South America Services, American Transport Lines; and Vice President, North America Region-South America Service. Prior to joining Crowley, Douglass held senior management positions in the areas of sales, marketing, and pricing for United States Lines' European, South America, and Far East services.

In 2005, Douglass was named senior vice president and general manager, marine services, based in Seattle. His responsibilities included ship assist and escort services, global contract marine services, salvage operations and commercial and government ship management.

In late 2007, Douglass relocated from the Seattle office to Jacksonville to handle various Crowley services (mentioned above) in the Atlantic/Gulf Region.

Douglass holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
