Maritime Security Program / Container Ships
Crowley operates several third-party owned container vessels that are part of the US Government’s Maritime Security Program, or MSP. These container ships operate in locations throughout the East and Gulf Coast to Northern Europe. These vessels are typically manned by a full crew of unlimited tonnage licensed and unlicensed deck, engine and steward departments.
Crowley has collective bargaining agreements with the Marine Engineers Beneficiary Association, Masters, Mates and Pilots and the Seafarers International Union for these vessels, depending upon the position.
