Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and/or services. Responsibilities include revenue accountability for a specified account base. Travel is required to cover assigned accounts. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in building customer dependencies. Partner and develop relationships, collaborate and solve problems. Delivers value-added services to current and prospective customers.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 - 5 years related experience. PC Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and ACT. Knowledge of produce and refrigerated cargo. Experience directly related to USDA, FDA and CBP a plus. Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Ability to drive and travel extensively by plane or car and work long hours when needed, including weekends. Ability to climb stairs and must wear hard hat when working in operational areas. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
